Prince has a multidisciplinary academic background, holding a PhD in Development Studies from SOAS, University of London, an MSc in Applied Labour Economics for Development from the University of Turin, and an MPhil in Sociology from the University of Ghana. His doctoral thesis explored Trade Union Responses to Neoliberalism in Ghana. With 15 years of experience in trade union research and policy at the Trades Union Congress (Ghana), his research and policy interests include labour markets (unemployment, employment, and working conditions), labour market institutions (such as trade unions and minimum wage), and institutions for industrial relations.
