My real passion is cooking healthy food but I am also a feminist who has worked for many years highlighting the value of the work women do both in their private and public lives.

My work in Latin America and Southern Africa has focussed on education and research with farm workers, domestic workers, craftswomen, indigenous and local communities and the LGBT community. I have also worked for years in influencing public policy, especially in the incorporation of women’s needs and interests.

As a feminist popular educator I have a keen interest and extensive experience in the design, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of education programmes for both adults and youth.
