Michael has an Honours in Bachelor of Accounting from UNISA. He's a registered financial accountant and has been running a successful financial consultancy practice for the past fifteen years, serving largely the development sector and small businesses. Michael's extensive financial administrative experience is founded on his completed articles and positions as Financial Manager at Young & Rubicam and at the Social Change Assistance Trust. He has served as Ditikeni Investment Company Ltd's company secretary since its inception in 1999 and currently serves as a non-executive director and audit committee chair of Maitland FS Holdings (Pty) Ltd. He has previously served as chair and non-executive director of African Pioneer Group (Pty) Ltd.
