Nina Benjamin has led the LRS Gender Programme since 2007. With extensive experience in feminist research and popular education, she has worked with labour, community, and research organisations. Her feminist politics and praxis centre on the care economy and care work, and she has written on these topics in various settings. Nina also brings deep insight into indigenous knowledge systems through her work supporting Science Granting Councils in Africa to advance gender transformation in science, technology, and innovation.
